Playstation T.V. has some serious potential

The Playstation T.V. (or VIta TV) was just released this week and so far I think its worth the money but it has some serious issues that need to work out in order for this thing to be a success.  I fear that if this thing flops Sony will end up dropping support for it which could be a huge mistake and make many early adopters such as myself regret buying one.  One of the main issues with this machine is the fact that not all games are compatible with the machine and one of its main selling points is being able to play PS Vita, PSP and PS1 games on your tv using an actual PS3 or PS4 controller.  Many PS Vita games do not work with this machine as of now and that disappointed me greatly because I was really looking forward to playing Sword Art Online Hollow Fragment on my large HDTV.  Now, just because certain games don't work with the machine doesn't mean that patches won't be put out to fix this.  I'm hoping that eventually most PS Vita games will work on PS TV because in all honesty that is really this things main appeal.  Now, there is another issue of course that some people may be aware of and that is the fact that not all streaming services currently work on the PS TV.  Another reason why I wanted this thing was so that I could watch Netflix and Hulu Plus on my TV without having to leave my PS3 or PS4 on for hours just to watch streaming video.  Currently the only streaming apps that work with the PS TV are Crunchyroll and Crackle!  That's it!  You would think Youtube would work on this thing as well but nope lol.  Once again I'll mention that its very important that this machine doesn't become a flop because if it does and Sony stops support it could be a huge waste of money for those who saw the potential in this device.  Those are really the only issues I have with the PS TV currently as it is.  I'm hoping that more patches come out for this device that will truly "unlock" the potential of it.  Not really sure how many will read this..most likely zero but I just wanted to get all of this off my chest!
